Building a new home or commercial project with Jake Phillips Construction follows a clear, transparent path — from your first intake through the day you sign the official construction contract.
Intake, Payment & Scheduling
Complete the intake form, pay the $200 consultation fee, and schedule your 30-minute call with Jake.
Phone Consultation & Preliminary Budget
Attend a 30-minute phone consultation and receive a preliminary budget range based on your submitted project details.
Site Visit
If both parties agree to move forward, attend a site visit with Jake.
Updated Budget, Intent to Build & Deposit
Receive an updated preliminary budget range by email, an electronic Intent to Build form, and a pre-construction deposit payment link.
Sign Intent & Pay Deposit
Sign the Intent to Build form and pay the pre-construction deposit.
Selections Meeting
Attend a detailed selections meeting to finalize finishes and materials.
Detailed Estimate & Contract
Receive the detailed estimate and sign the official construction contract.
A preliminary budget range is an early estimate based on your submitted project details. It is not a final quote. A detailed estimate is provided after the selections meeting and is formalized in the official construction contract.
The pre-construction deposit amount is determined after your site visit and updated budget range. Jake will provide the exact amount with your Intent to Build form.
